Since joining ABBYY, he has driven a level of product innovation and delivery unprecedented in the company’s history, establishing a highly disciplined engineering organization that achieves monthly product updates and releases. He holds technology patents spanning cloud application construction, distributed messaging, and automated testing, and builds engineering cultures organized around predictability, accountability, and measurable customer impact. Robert drives ABBYY’s technology strategy and prioritizes initiatives that provide customers with greater flexibility in how they deploy and scale governed document processing solutions.
Robert brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling high-performance engineering organizations, with depth in AI and machine learning platforms, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and security compliance. Before ABBYY, Robert held engineering leadership roles at ForgeRock, where he contributed to the company’s successful IPO, and at ConverseNow.AI, where he led the engineering transformation through its Series A growth phase.
